The UWRA Masterclasses are intensive, hands-on training workshops that equip researchers, health professionals, and students with the practical skills needed to design, conduct, and communicate high-impact research.

Each masterclass is led by experienced practitioners and academics, blending theory with real-world application. Participants will leave with actionable skills, a certificate of completion, and a digital badge to showcase their achievement.

Who can attend a masterclass?

Our masterclasses are open to researchers, health professionals, students, and anyone interested in building research skills. Some courses may have prerequisite knowledge (see individual course pages).

When will registration open?

We are currently finalizing the curriculum and schedule. Registration is expected to open in the coming months. Join our notification list to be the first to know.

Will I receive a certificate?

Yes, upon successful completion you will receive a certificate of attendance and a digital badge that can be shared on LinkedIn and other professional platforms.

Are the masterclasses offered online?

Yes, each masterclass will be delivered in a hybrid format — in-person in Nairobi and live online via interactive video conferencing. Remote participants can fully engage and ask questions.

How do I register?

Registration is not yet open. Once the masterclasses are launched, you will be able to register through our dedicated registration portal. For now, you can fellowship@utafitiwellness.org to express interest.
