From vision to impact

Utafiti Wellness Research Association was founded in 2025 with a clear mission: to bridge the gap between research and real-world health impact across Africa. What began as a vision has grown into a thriving research translation institution, operating across 8 counties and training over 35 research leaders within its first year.

Today, UWRA operates across 8 counties, has trained 35+ research leaders, and continues to expand at an exceedingly steady pace.
